June 29th, 2015 - Battista Paolo Brino, 82, of Southington, passed away on Monday June 29, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family at his side.
He was the loving husband of Rosa (Rossetti) Brino for over 55 years.
Battista was born on December 24, 1932 in Alvignanello, Italy son of the late Pasquale and Maria (D’Agostino) Brino.
He retired from GE in Plantsville and then enjoyed helping his wife at her business Napoli Imports in Plantsville.
He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and singing. He loved his grandchildren and took great joy in spoiling them.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by a daughter Carmelina Picone and husband Dr. Joseph Picone of Cheshire and a son Dr. Gino Brino and wife Sandra of Southington, grandchildren Dr. Aniello Picone, Joseph A. Picone Jr., Francesca Picone, Valerie Moriarty, and Cecilia Brino, a brother Albert Brino, sisters Elvira Sangiovanni, Perina Guzzo, Teresa Torre, Rosa Silvestro all of NY, and Josephine Roberts of NV, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Gino, Francesco Rinaldo, Angelo Antonio, and Giovanni Battista Brino who was his twin brother.
