January 3rd, 2011 - Francesco "Frank" Carbone, 87, of Medford St., West Haven. Husband of the late Gilda Celella Carbone.
Loving father of Vincent (Barbara) Carbone of Cheshire and Salvatore (Alfonsina) Carbone of Bethany.
Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Frank (Meghan) Carbone, Salvatore Carbone, Jr., Daniel, Erica, Michael Carbone and a great grandchild Luca Frank Carbone.
He was predeceased by brothers Giuseppe and Fiorentino Carbone and a great granddaughter Ava Carbone.
Mr. Carbone was born in Alvignanello, Italy March 25, 1923 son of the late Salvatore and Maria (Rossetti) Carbone.
Francesco came to the United States in 1968 with his family,he worked as a manufacturing supervisor for Alinabal in Milford and retired in 1986.
He enjoyed making his own wine and looked forward to planting his own garden every year.
