March 28th, 2012 - Antonio Testa, 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the HCC at New Britain General. He was the husband of Gilda (Iacobucci) Testa.
Born July 14, 1923 in Alvignanello, Italy, he was the son of the late Marco and Caterina (Fasulo) Testa. Antonio served in the Italian Army during World War II. He retired from Ideal Forging Corp. and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church. He had a passion for his garden and making wine.
Besides his wife he leaves his children, Giovannina Picone and husband, Peter, of Southington, Carmela Kisner and husband, Michael, of New Fairfield and Marco Testa and wife, Tina, of Southington; a brother, Michael Testa, of Southington; two sisters, Vincenza Giano, of Southington and Maria Galietti, of Italy; eight grandchildren, Tony, Jerry, Gillian, John, Mark, Neil, Anthony and Eric; along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Testa; and a sister, Gilda Fortini.
